¾” diameter stand-offs are used on glass or objects less than 12” in scale. If the artwork is greater than 12” less than 15” and/or ½” thick then increase the diameter to 1”. Hang Your Glass adhesive is required for all non-drilling applications. Artist: Lea DeWitt

¾” diameter, various lengths

. Bracket permanently attached to the background of glass using HXTAL. All stand-offs use Hang Your Glass adhesive since the area was coldworked flat, this was necessary for the fast setting. The brackets used a combination of HXTAL and Hang Your Glass adhesive depending on if there was a flat area or a gap. The 3/4" diameter x 1/2" Length (905-3X) was used for all the center pieces nested into this installation. They can all flip 180 and they can be switched with different colors of background glass. Combination of Hang Your Glass adhesive & HXTAL used for the bracket.

1” diameter stand-offs are used on medium sized pieces of glass between 12” & 15” in scale. If the artwork is over ½” thick or depth greater than 6” then increase the diameter of the stand-off to 1½”. Hang Your Glass adhesive required for all non-drilling applications. Artist: Marcus Thesing

5/8” diameter, various lengths

This is the most popular stand-off for mounting panels. These work for panels greater 10” and less than 30”. Use all four stand-offs to distribute the weight around the glass unless it is a small narrow panel (less than 6” x 12”) then you may use two place on a diagonal (see video). ¾” Diameter, Various Lengths

This illustration show's using the same diameter of stand-offs (super duty & nesting) so it appears that the glass is drilled through but it is not. The middle piece of glass has an inverted the stand-off due to the depth of the bowl. Alternatively, this combination of glass could have used 1 1/2" D super duty into the wall; 1" x 1 1/2" nesting and then a 3/4" x 1 1/2" (inverted).

Permanently affix the stand-off to the glass. Screw the bracket into a stud or use anchors. Slip the glass with the stand-off attached into the bracket. Rotate the bracket to achieve other angles.
