Round Stand-Offs
Style B - 5/8” Diameter

This is the most popular stand-off for mounting panels. These work for panels greater 10” and less than 30”. Use all four stand-offs to distribute the weight around the glass unless it is a small narrow panel (less than 6” x 12”) then you may use two place on a diagonal (see video). These are also used to hang glass dry erase boards, depending on the size you will need additional stand-offs.

These are for larger heavier panels greater than 24” x 24” and/or over 15lbs.

Ideal for panels and larger artwork Hang Your Glass recommends that you use the patented round stand-offs. The round stand-offs are designed to have more than one stand-off holding the piece of glass art to the wall. Typically four stand-offs are used on square panels. For larger panels increase the diameter of the stand-off, see chart for more detailed information.
Generally, any panel/flat glass over 10″ X 10″ will need more than one stand-off to equally float the glass off the wall. You want to place the stand-offs close enough to the edges that you can get your hand behind the work while installing it. When using the charts first go by the scale of your piece rather than the weight. For most applications the scale of the piece of glass will determine the diameter needed for the stand-off.
